SOFIE_HOME Directory

The SOFIE_HOME directory contains all the data related to user profiles, SOFiE configuration, private/public keys, files encrypted/transferred as well as the application logs.
By default, the SOFIE_HOME is installed in c:\cetrel\sofie (on Windows OS).

Data Folder

The following picture illustrates the default functions of each sub-folders:


Notice

  1. The user can create his own data folders if he doesn't want to use the default ones.
    The folders have to be specified in the GUI or batch settings.
  2. In GUI mode, when a file is manually selected for processing (e.g manual encryption) it is not removed from the source folder when archived.
