Keys Renewal

Access to the Functionality

• Through the GUI (menu "Tools->Key renewal")
• After the login, when you get the warning message telling you that your certificate is expired.
• After the login, when you get the warning message telling you that your certificate is close to expiration.

The Renewal Window

1. Generate a new private/public key
   
   
   
   Move the mouse till the progress bar is being completly filled
   Continue with


2. Save the certificate’s request file.
   
   
   
   We recommend you to save it with the suggested filename which follows the format "YYYY-MM-DD_HH’h’mm’m’ss’s’_ParticipantID.pem".


3. Finish:
   
   
   
   Click to end the process. Now you can use your .pem file to request a certificate order at Luxtrust.
