The login allows you to access the functionalities of SOFiE.
Type in your User-Id and your Password when the login dialog
appears.
Important remarks:
The first time you log in to SOFiE, you have to use the password contained in the login envelope
received from Six-Payment-Services or Cetrel-Securities. SOFiE will detect no profile exists for your user and will ask your to
create one. During the profile creation, you will be
asked to change your initial password.
SOFiE requests your password to have at least 8 characters, one upper case letter, one
lower case letter and a digit.
After 3 erroneous attempts, the login terminates automatically. You can nevertheless restart
SOFiE and try to log in again.
If you forget or lose your password you can no longer use your current SOFiE profile. You have to create a new profile and order a new certificate. Please contact Six-Payment-Services helpdesk for assistance.
Depending on your configuration and status of your user, some functions of SOFiE may be disabled.
Do not confirm the
creation of a new user and returns the error message:
Confirming with brings you back to the login screen.
No HTTP/LDAP connection
Connected mode:
For a profile configured in "connected mode", a connection needs to be opened on port 443 to
sofie.cetrel.lu otherwise you get the exception message:
Clicking on
will launch SOFiE but the send/receive functionalities will be disabled.
If you want to reactivate the send/receive menus after you have solved your connection issue,
you can either restart SOFiE or use the "check connectivity"
menu
Cliking on
will launch SOFiE but the encrypt/decrypt functionalies will be disabled.

Password unsynchronized
If your SOFiE user is configured in "connected mode" and the local password is different than the
web password, you have a password unsynchronization.
This issue arises if you were in offline mode the last time you changed your password.
Call the Sofie's support to get a "one-time-password" and enter it into to the dialog box.
Clicking on will
launch SOFiE and resynchronize your local password with the server password .
New keys generated
When you use the keys renewal process
, SOFiE records the event for the next login. Next time you login you are asked to install
a new SOFiE configuration file:
brings you
to the SOFiE configuration file install. If you are
not able to provide a valid file during the next step, SOFiE will shutdown automatically.
As long as you don’t provide a valid file, you will be asked to install one at each login. If you
want to avoid the message, click on and use the SOFiE menu "Tools->Cancel certificate request."
Luxtrust certificate close to expiration
45 days before the expiration of your certificate, SOFiE detects after you have logged in that your
certificate will soon expire, and asks if you want to renew your certificate:
When you launch the SOFiE executable, it may happen the executable doesn’t find your installation path.
Such a case can happens for example if have deleted the installation cookie file.
When it occurs, you are asked to specify the correct SOFiE installation path
