First Certificate / New User

To create your new user and install your first certificate you need to perform the following steps:

  1. Profile creation: the profile creation is automatically run the first time you log into SOFiE with a new userID (see "user not defined" dalogbox).
    It will allow you to generate a public key (.pem file) and a private key. The public key will help making a certificate request at Luxtrust.
  2. Certificate request: visit the Luxtrust website and fill the certificate order form.
    The data in .pem will have to be communicated during your order.
  3. Certificate sending: once your order is validated, you receive by e-mail your certiface from "La Chambre Du Commerce".
    The certificate has to be sent to Sofie's central where it will be processed. In return you will receive a SOFiE configuration file.
  4. SOFiE configuration file install: the last step consists in installing the SOFiE file received from Six-Payment-Services.
